I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and featured a real king-size bed. It was also a nice opportunity to get acquainted with traditional Chinese breakfast cuisine.You should be aware that the staff generally do not speak English or other languages besides Chinese. However, they were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and overall, for the price, this hotel offers very good value. Another plus is its convenient location close to a metro station.

Holiday Inn is one of the reputed hotels . Room is big and clean.

Location is one of the main reasons I don’t like this place. Most staff can’t speak English and used translator for communication which is most irritating for tourists and wasting time even asking simple question.

The staff was eager, but hardly spoke any English. The business centre was useful, I could have a meeting with my associate without any problem.

The room was very basic (please note that I compare this with other Holiday Inn hotels only, not with any other hotel). The breakfast had only Chinese cuisine - there should have been more international items. There should be staff speaking English (again considering that Holiday Inn is a well known international chain of hotels.)

The staff are really great. Event they can not communicate in English but they willing to help everything as my request and always smile.

Nice breakfast, nice room with two 140cm wide bed. Great price/quality ratio.Metro 6 is less than 300m away.

The AC was not working. It was very hot and they provided a portable fan only instead of giving us a new room.

The hotel is conveniently located in Jinqiao and it is a good breathing space for foreigners to relax. Has a basic, but good gym, and staff are friendly.

Good size, fast Internet, good products in the bathroom.

Metro a little bit far, in front of the motorway but our windows was at the opposite side, bed sheets changed everyday but the replacement one was not entirely white.

Staff are great and very friendly. Location is acceptable distance from the metro station. But gym is not good

The facility was well maintained despite being quite aged. The staff was helpful (even with limited knowledge of English). The room was clean and tidy.

Breakfast had very few options from Western cuisine. Might be a deal-breaker for those who doesn't like local cuisine. The location is quite far from the city center but relatively close to the business/expo area (also depends what you call "close" in Shanghai).

It was budget room.

Cleanliness. Breakfast was not so good. Chairs are not clean. Staff doesn’t speak good English. Location is odd to visit tourist places.

Breakfast was great, good variety of western and Chinese food. Restaurant and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful.Really nice water pressure in the shower. Overall a pleasant experience.

Communication was challenging, normally translators on phones work, but in this case it did not work well with reception staff. I was unhappy that my deposit was not returned the same day as check out. All other hotels have returned deposits the same day. And when enquiring with booking.com and the hotel I have got little response. I hope this is resolved shortly,
